Our attitude
On this page we would like to show you how our darlings live with us and maybe give you a tip or two.
Where the wild Boys live...
Our boys live in two connected Maximus cages and thus on 185 x 63 x 158cm with three additional full floors.
The Maximus cage is our absolute favorite cage. It is very stable and made entirely of metal - so it withstands curious rat teeth perfectly. With poor care, however, it tends to rust in "popular" corners, but other metal cages do the same. At the original price it is not really cheap either, but it is definitely worth it. Another plus is that you can also reorder the metal tubs!
With a little manual skill, two (or certainly more) cages of this type can be combined into one - like ours. We are also happy to send our recordings to anyone who is interested.
the Diva-House
The little monster cheekslive in two connected Savic Suite Royal XL and thus on 230 x 67 x 153cm with a total of three additional full floors.
In terms of floor space, the Savic Suite XL is unbeatable on the current cage market, but we don't think the plastic shelves are really suitable for rodents and would advise replacing them with screen printing plates or something similar. Unfortunately, the cage is not the most stable in terms of structure, seems a bit wobbly. If you don't put too much weight on it, you won't notice it that much. We wouldn't recommend it at new price. However, if you can get it in used condition for half the original price, you wouldn't go wrong if you bought it.
Kita, Kiga and the bridal suites
Two Maximus cages (each 94x63x158cm) are available for rearing and separating our puppies and young animals. In the standard configuration, one is divided into two slots and is primarily used for raising puppies, the other has two additional full floors and is not divided. Our young animals find a temporary home in him until they are adopted.
Furthermore, there are two "wedding suites" available for mating and throwing, dimensions approx. 100x50x80cm each.
The menu of our noses
Our little omnivorous friends are usually very easy to care for when it comes to food. Since our feed mixture varies constantly in terms of ingredients and composition, we have very little to do with leaders, so there is hardly any selection. Nevertheless, of course, every nose has its preferences and of course there are also things that one or the other nose just doesn't like. It's quite natural, because not everyone has to like everything - we two-legged friends don't either. In addition to the dry food, we have fresh food three times a week on average. You can find a fresh food list by the wayhere.
get an appetite? Lucky for you: because adopters of our fur buttocks can now also get their monthly feed ration from us (the ones for the rats ☺). Our food is mixed by us according to our own recipe and is perfectly tailored to the needs of our darlings.
It includes of coursenocheap fillers, aromas, pellets, "chunks", dyes or other stuff that has no place in the feeding bowl. Interest? Then write to us! We would also be happy to send you a detailed list of the ingredients.
